The Highway One HSS currently retails at £700 and is only available in black now, as mentioned this finish is extremely rare. The Atomic Humbucker is the same as the one in the USA Deluxe Strat and costs £80 alone, the Highway One guitar is identical to the current American Special HSS apart from the finish and the single coil pickups. I have added two closeups pics to get as accurate a representation of the colour as possible, it is really beautiful, the grain of the Alder shows through perfectly, the satin finish looks and feels great and will look fantastic as it ages. The Cocoa Transparent Satin Lacquer finish on this guitar was only available for a few months after the 2006 upgrade - very rare and easily the most attractive colour option for this guitar. However, this guitar looks like it just came off the peg at the local guitar shop, this guitar genuinely has been in storage for five years since the day it was purchased. It is only listed as used as I have picked it up a couple of times to check everything works and as it is now five years old I cant justify selling it as new.
It still has the plastic film covering the scratchplate, all the tags and manuals are included. This guitar was bought in 2006 shortly after they upgraded the Highway One strats, it was placed in storage where it has sat since. Fender USA HIGHWAY 1 STRATOCASTER HSS, in mint unplayed condition, no wear, no fretwear, no dings no marks.
